GOLF ADVERTISEMENT
A brief to create a golf advertisement animatic for an Yonex Ezoen Driver, using a given script to create a final animatic to present. As a group, we chose this project brief as it provided a funny element compared to the golfing product.
As one of the illustrators on the project, I created the visual inspiration for the art style and the chosen colour palette, the environment used and finalised the intial sketches for the animatic for the final product.
Visual Inspiration and Moodboard
As the visual and storyboard artist for the golf animatic, it was my job to finalise the character design for each fish, using group participation to decide, as well as, finalise the colour palette and the environment. Multiple different fish were sketched out, in various styles, highlighting their fins, their eyes and even their age.
Animatic Initial Sketches
With the overall style chosen as a group, I took the initial storyboard and started to add in the individuality. Focussing on creating perspective between the characters and their environment, as well as, highlighting the information that needed to be presented. By creating the initial sketches for the animatic, the rest of the team were able to finalise the animatic.
